In "Where We Left Off", two estranged siblings come together after years apart in an attempt to scatter their mother's ashes, but their clashing personalities - and the ashes - get blown off course.
"Where We Left Off" is my directorial debut that premiered at the Portland State University Annual Film Student Showcase, where it received First Place on the student production side of the event. This short film was created from a concept of my own, initially based on my own relationship with my brother, but it became something more with the different viewpoint of a separate scriptwriter, Antonio Ballestero.
